For this winter shoot, the crew headed out to a forest location to build the image properly on site.
Rou Reynolds, the lead singer, was rigged safely upside down via crane in front of a towering beam of light, all captured in-camera rather than created in post. As surreal as the final image looks, it came from a very hands-on setup in the middle of winter - hauling kit into the woods, rigging the light, and going all in on the idea.
